Touch fair cheek wet with tear,
Sobs of joy not those of fear,
Our breath combined savored sweet,
Entwined embrace fulfillment complete.
Lying still, peaceful, and fully spent,
No question even more than content,
All taboo forgot in passions' fire,
Worldly cares forfeit to our desire.
Moonlight reflects upon bodies in quiet,
Mere moments after our craving riot,
From excitement and fervor nigh burst,
Now quiet calm and a touch of thirst.
In a world filled with trouble and strife,
In each other's arms so full seems life,
Given this rare moment what will we miss,
Together, before or after love, this true bliss.
