"I HEAR THE COLOR OF DAWN"

There
There it is
A handful of cloud
that glows pink
as the fire rises
in the indigo sky
driving away
the night's dark shroud
The mountains
majestic in the light of morn'
dance in hues
of orange
and red
greeting the new day born
The sweet dawn song
of many a nested bird
frolics through the air
giving voice to the colors
letting them be heard.
