Loves Last Vision
 

In this patchwork quilt of mirrored reflections
As though in amused mockery of loves last vision
I see your half smile...
 

In the depth of my sorrow
I saw not the beauty of your soul
Yet now I see an incandescent light in your eyes...
 

Too late! Fragmented, my hopes lie shattered
Nothing more than a splintered, mirrored reflection
Of a friendship which once held so much promise...
 

Yet it is perhaps symbolic of a myopic relationship
Gone now forever, the untruth, the lies
A reason to forgive and forget...
