Beyond Tomorrow is a novel containing Creator, Family, and Life issues throughout its entire text. In a society which cries out for decent material. "Beyond Tomorrow" fulfills that purpose with an abundance of meaning and symbolic criteria. Causing anyone who reads the material to THINK for themselves. Viewing the evolving story introspectively, while challenging thought provocation upon all subjectivity. Descriptions are vividly enlightening engrossing the reader, in this fantastic journey of space travel and exploration. With a high degree of possible realigning through a world of fantasy where the outcome of human behaviors are explored in depth. As is the center of the creation, the results and effects of immorality in a life without a Creator is a key focus point. Bringing a code of ethics which is the foundation of any endeavor, strongly becoming to man. "Beyond Tomorrow" is a potent novel mentioning the importance of human concerns. Abstinence, Integrity, Virtue, Mercy, Forgiveness, with Long suffering as enforcements. The demoralization of a culture which loses such, is accented severely, as also is spiritual warfare displayed. The Supreme Being Personified, of He, who is total and complete judge. Is the basis of its complete structure. The backbone. "Beyond Tomorrow" deals with the inner man, revolving a purely fictional work of art. Unfolding with the discovery of Life on another planet. Each individual characterization enables the reader to relate on a personal level. Through the realm of mental associations with all counter protests presented. Allowing the episode to grasp attention through the confrontational what if approach. The novel captures the heart and mind to gripping extenuates. Its vast appeal is the ability to reach out to ALL READERS in any walk of life.

AUTHOR’S INTRODUCTION
The author embarks upon this journey and ventures to capture, somehow, a remnant of life. That which is so astoundingly short on this earth. We live in a time of much controversy.
Yet where in the history of man, has there not been found, any controversial situations?
There are many people, living and trying to cope with everyday situations, selflessly seeking to improve, build and better our world. There are some who seek to destroy, or choose to tear it down. Or some who simply prefer to watch the stage unfold as each moment passes. Such has it been from the beginning of time, from many a perspective and observation through man. Nothing on this earth is new under the heavens. Some, may like to deny, some may like to hide under the cloak of pretense. If we study the rise and fall of any nation we are able to find what it is caused its success or its failures. For all the ages have had periods of differentialities, the common denominator of which is extremely obvious and quite simple to see is:
THE FIGHT BETWEEN WHAT IS RIGHT, OR WHAT IS WRONG.
This is an issue which unfortunately holds a great deal of unpleasantness. For it appears everyone is at odds, with the above. The injustice seems to lie when any individual is untruthful to his own self. Here, we begin by seeing what WE may uncover.
For EVIL can not be called GOOD, and GOOD can not be called EVIL.
WRONG is not RIGHT, or viceversa.
For each force battles against the other. If not, then why is it, the dilemmas persist? At these crossroads, he who reads these words, now or in the years to come will find:
It will be his time, his life, or his own moments.
For each epoch, it is that individual, and his own people. Now, these are the days of the author. Obviously, we all have a right to our own opinions, and visions. Each of us sees things from a different viewpoint. Thus, the author has tried to present many different scenarios for the reader to indulge with an open mind within a panorama of diversity. Stressing that each word written is not to be taken as a personal affront, discrimination, judgment, or offense towards any peoples by the author. Thus, the material presented herein YOU have chosen to read by your own choice, at your own risk. The author is not in anyway to be held accountable if it offends, or is objectional to you or your personal belief system, creed, religion, or lifestyle. For that is not the purpose, it is a fictional conjuration and creation of the author’s imagination and a work of literary entertainment and work of art. Therefore the reader is knowledgeable that the contents are a fabrication of the author’s creative mind and you the reader are very much aware of the disclaimer above stated.
The author does state the following belief without the vision of our forefathers, who gave us these freedoms, of press, speech, and religion under GOD. We the people, would not be FREE, or entitled to anything what so ever, but an oppressed people without a voice and without rights living in a continual fear which they so fought to bring us. All in all, the author thinks we shoul look within our own hearts. Discover what each one of us may do for Self-Improvement. Allowing our light to shine, without shame, or especially and most importantly:
WITHOUT THE CONDEMNATION TOWARDS OTHERS.
The author is not trying to carve out the perfect society, for none exists on this planet. Or, the perfectionism, of any entity, for neither is that found here on this plane. It is on another. As we travel this road we learn each day, and hopefully grow, and wiith each error, or reward we are taught valuable lessons. Sometimes, the decisions we make determine our future, and we must live with the outcome. If not ,we ourselves, are the losers in the end. There is :
HOPE for MANKIND and CHARITY is the greatest of gifts.
In the mean- time, the author does believe that unless some divine intervention comes to deliver us, we must continue our walk, through this plane and be strengthened by that unseen force that shall guide us to the final moments. Wherein the author states his precepts within this paragraph that is; which the author holds to be true, his beliefs, his opinions and what he thinks. He thanks God, and all the brave men and women who have fought and died that we may have this freedom and not live in silence.
Any other written passages within this text do not reflect the opinions, and or thoughts of the author, his workplace or any of his colleagues and friends.
In closing he leaves to you, the reader, a flight of fictional fantasy, and perhaps what could be a possible reality within a dream state frame, and dreams may or may not be. In this light, you will find many a different circumstance which may sound familiar; that is purely coincidental. Any resemblance to actual persons living or dead is not intentional. For the what following is strictly fictional within it’s characterization and is based on sole creativity.

PRELUDE
| Come, take my hand, I pray Thee;
We'll soar, beyond the limits of the sky! Let's search, above this darkness, that you see. Each star that's lit, we'll count go by. Beyond, the confines of today; You'll fly! Just listen, to the words; I have to say. Where myriads of colors, in vivid set display; The ever glorious array, will surely make you want to stay . An endless universe, we may traverse; Ever growing wonderland, shall open up, you understand. With more to find, than all we've left behind! All fears of yesteryear, no longer will abide. Your worries, now; are set aside. Looking forward to a better day. When you, again will come my way. To journey far, beyond that dream; Though, difficult it may seem. Turn, look again my friend, Because, you've reached, BEYOND TOMORROW! |

CHAPTER ONE
THE PLANETS TIME SPREAD
The stir of activity on planet Futura was one of excitement. Finally, they had found another planet, which contained life, in a variety of forms. Never had they dared to even hope, much less dream about such a discovery! Here was an opportunity to expand their horizons.
.....................................
Little was left of what once had been a very populated world. Now only a small fragment of an old civilization can be seen. A speck of a town called Vista, lay like an oasis in the desert. Where one could dream in a scenic paradise. You wonder, for a moment, if it could even be called a town. In all aspects it had retained all the quaint charm of an era erased from memory of days, gone by. Regal colonial style houses with cobbled walkways for roads, between establishments, Victorian mansions amongst large overpowering Magnolia trees, great expanses of lavish green pastures, radiant white picket fences decorating each individual home, giving a distinct personality to the residences as if they were speaking. Somehow trying to convey a story of those people who dwelt there in. Hand hewn log cabins and lodges, which were unheard of, could be found in Vista. Horse drawn carriages or buggies filled the streets. Lampposts at every street corner would brightly guide your way. These were not uncommon sights. Nor were the dirt roads, which led you in other directions. Here the people had held on to a part of their history. That which had fortified them and built a strong character. The community was close knit. Each knowing his neighbor. From the farmer to the governor. All were one people united. Whatever happened in the outskirts of Vista, was another world. Little did anyone in particular know, how this one town would forever change in a short span of time.
.................................
On the other side of the planet far away from Vista, was the only Metropolis which remained. The City, New Bay, was a completely different scenario. The pace was fast. People moved in droves without stopping much less smiling. The buildings were designed in such a manner that connected its entire structure. Except for a point off to the northern most part. Only in this section was there an obvious break in the design. Monorails would fly you from one end of New Bay to the other, at lightening speeds. If you felt that was not quick enough, you could always pick up a jet scooter. Darting from one area to another, to your hearts content. Anything was possible. All at the mere touch of a button. Time was only a twinkling. No one, of course thought it peculiar. The inhabitants lived in a bubble. This was their life! Yet, something was lacking. That being, the closeness of humanity.
A society of total computerization, at your finger tips. Thus, the computerized machinery, with its robotic counterparts had been built for the advancement of the ages. In turn, it had made nothing more than auto-mans of these individuals residing at New Bay. For the most part one could establish by looking, that anything other than this was ludicrous. Most assuredly a person would be judged as ignorant or indeed backward.
Ridicule would definitely ensue as a merciless thing. It could easily fall upon any, who were not in agreement to their way of life. New Bay was THE WORLD, and who could change it?
..............................
Leonora was perplexed. What was all the hubbub about? Her sister Tamera was speaking to The Mission Control Commodore at Central. Well, Leonora thought there was only one way to find out. She would simply put Tamera on the visual screen in her room. Commodore Zilon was in the midst of a dialogue........
" We have need of two more crew members for the exploration. The best candidates are you Tamera and Leonora. I don't believe I need to point out the fact, it has already been put to a vote. Unanimously approved, by the way. Of course, there is no need to discuss the matter really. Just a formality. Actually, I am calling out of consideration to both you and your sister. At Central everything is purely procedure, procedure is just that! Rules and regulations, you are very much aware of the way things are Tamera. So, technically as we speak you are now enlisted! " On and on he went.
Tamera was simply ecstatic! How, had she actually merited and been chosen for such an honor? To be able to venture forth to an unknown region.
Leonora on the other hand, sat there full of skepticism. What had motivated The Mission Control Top Brass? Picking her, of all people! Did they not realize, she just wanted to be left alone? Oh yes, she was accomplished all right, no doubt about it. The proof was all there decorating the wall. With endless ribbons and diplomas. But what sort of scientific contribution could she possibly give? No, there had to be more behind all of this.
As Commodore Zilon continued she came back to the drone. It was simple. Zilon was saying,” Yes, the rules are quite easy."
Tamera questioned him,” Sure everything on our side would be arranged, but what about when we get there?"
"No matter!" he countered. "We will find the answers to that too!" he exclaimed.
Leonora continued to listen. So, here she was, a simple plain ordinary person stuck! A duty to fulfill on a planet they knew absolutely nothing about! In her mind the whole thing sounded absurd, to be sure. Orders, nothing but orders, would they ever cease? How tiresome it all was, not to mention, how she had ever managed to get herself into this fix?
“Commodore Zilon, tell me, What are we to expect?" questioned Tamera relentlessly.
"There are to be six of you on the ship. Plus the Commodore and his crew of commanding officers. It would be a three week flight, truly short." " Training begins immediately!" he exclaimed. " Details would be discussed at 0900 hours in the conference room." " Be there! " The screen went blank!
................................
A sapphire blue sky dotted with clouds resembling giant puffs of cotton. A sun as brilliant as the morning star shone. What a truly glorious day!
One, which was absolutely perfect for fishing. Alexander thought to himself,” I wonder what dad will say?" A knock on his door caused him to come out of his daydreams. Casting a quick glance out of the window with a sigh,” Who is it?" he asked.
"Alex,'' "What are you doing in there?" "Don't you have any idea what time it is!" His sister Janet both questioned and exclaimed in one breath. "Alex, come!" she had a way of not letting up.
Finally Alex opened the bedroom door, looking at his sister with a huge grin on his face. Janet was certainly frustrating to no end at times. Was there ever going to be any peace for a guy? "Well, what is it?" "Let's have it?" "You, have just been blowing my eardrums and I assure you, Janet, I hear just fine!" "Besides, what is so important on my day off?"
Janet hurriedly explained, "Dad was just remarking how splendid it would be if they all went over to Lapis Lake, casting their hooks in."
Alex watched his sister, and was fascinated by the fact that she had the ability to speak so much without stopping for air.
Why did Alex have that stupid look on his face? He was wasting time!
"Do not worry about it Janet I know how difficult life is for you, especially, when Lapis Lake is beckoning to you. "Alex laughed.
"You mean, you don't want to go?'' she screamed.
Slipping by her he said, "What I intend to do is go downstairs." "I will give mom a big hug, then I will eat the best breakfast a man can dream of." Off he ran leaving Janet with her mouth agape. "By the way I would close my mouth if I were you, never know what might find its way in there."
"YUCK!" Janet exclaimed. Now that was just not like him, to always be so unreasonable.
For a moment, Alex felt a twinge of guilt, by not telling Janet that he had already been thinking upon going out himself. But, what were sisters for if you could not tease them every now and then. To his surprise he found a note from his mother on the kitchen table. It read: Honey, had to run. Sorry. Drink some orange juice! Do not forget your vitamins, I will be back shortly. Love, Mom. Figures, just when a guy needs some nourishment too!
Janet stormed through the swinging doors. "Okay, I want to know what is going on?"
"Huh?" "Are you speaking to me?" "Janet?" Let me see mom here said, orange juice. "Aren't you even going to acknowledge anything?" "Alex?" Janet decided the best thing to do was to give Alex his breakfast. She grabbed the orange juice pitcher and placed it on the counter. Then proceeded to rattle on about the lake.
While her mouth moved her hands were not idle. It was amazing, how did she manage it? Alex was always at a loss for an answer to this. "What is mom up to anyway?"
"Ahah!" "So, you are not indifferent then are you, Alex?" "Well you know mom, it doesn't matter if.......................... her words trailed off suddenly.
Victor Craig strode in through the back door of the kitchen. He carried a grave look of concern. Both his children were wondering what could cause such a dark cloud on an otherwise perfect day. Louise Craig had the time of her life hitching up the team of horses. So odd, the horses never acted inconvenienced by having to pull the buggy before. These animals loved going out for an outing. Especially, when Louise hitched them. She always brought along some tasty treats! She stroked the mare, soothing her quietly, with her calm assurance. Louise raised her eyes to the heavens noticing something. What was that?
....................................
There was a special going on at Zips today; it rang through the entire city. Who could possibly not show up? No one could pass it without being lured in. Leonard ran the best seafood joint in New Bay also the only one of its kind. The man prided himself on his advertisement.
Perpetual neon signs were posted all over this kingdom. Displaying an endless light show in tasteful color. Beneath all the brilliance the simple statement "Zips is it!" You may say, "Not very creative." But people here were not creative sorts. It mattered not in the least to them. It was all a matter of status, being able to have the luxury of stepping into the Northern Point. The only place which was allowed their trespass. Only one thought was in the mind of these individuals. That was, how to spend what- ever money in their possession. If nothing else they had good taste especially where food was concerned. Top quality was first and uppermost on the list. The best would only do. Of course in this who could find fault? There isn't a living soul fool enough to prefer inferiority to high grade! This was not the issue, what was is the obsessions, lusts, and utter disregard for any human being other than one's self. The reasoning, simple, it was like this, we have the financial capital. Thus, creating a currency to become far superior in their lives than anything else. Saying the words, "Money does not give you what you want." Was like telling them that tomorrow there would not be a New Bay! So, each was smug in the fallacy of instant self-gratification. Living for the moment and what - ever pleasures could be derived there- of. Leonard scoffed at the foolishness of this society. The conceit he beheld each day was by far one of the most odious in his eyes. But, hey, he was a business man, and just because he was surrounded by fools who cared? He was making a tremendous profit from their own vanity. It was none of his affair anyway. He had his own life to account for. That was enough. For being such an advanced culture the logical thing to think, was the inhabitants would have grown with it. Yet the opposite was true by far, they were an ignorant lot. You would also believe since generations had passed. The forefathers had imparted the same beliefs originally held in high regard. Here also was a deficiency it had not been done. Due to this fact only a few knew the origins, the history, and the truth of how New Bay had come to be.
Those were the ones who lived in the Northern Point. They held fast to tradition, morality, values and social growth. The rest for the most part took every aspect of life for granted. There was a sky, the city, and the great waterway. Which in essence was how the name New Bay had come to be. The great ocean on the north side was just that to them- a body of water. Nothing more, nothing less. It did not matter, just a name "The Azuli." Leonard had heard from his family members the story of the planet Aguazul. About The Azuli, how it had always been. This was what had made New Bay a place of value worth keeping the families in. After a period of time only the people who had remained true knew the history behind their very existence. The now generation, well, everything had been lost due to the breakdown of family. The parents had not passed to them the importance of the heritage. In all honesty none had allowed for The Books, or Ledgers to be read. It was as if there was some terrible shame in reading the past. The elders had taken it upon themselves to rescue The Books of Aguazul.
If they had not The Legends would have been destroyed by the ignorance of these people. For a brief time the ancients persistently tried to get the people interested once again in which they lived. It came to no avail. Those who came after disdained and cursed their heritage making a mockery of one of the most beautiful places a person could behold.
New Bay had become a result of the eradication of a culture. A selfish, egotistical, habitation. A place where the people believed all was due to their own creation and ingenuity. Feeling in their hearts and thinking in their minds, New Bay was all-powerful, invincible, and so were they. With such a closed mind it was no wonder they thought they were the only people that existed. Leonard of course knew better, yet in his own mind he figured why waste your time when no one in this vicinity cared.
Those few who did could not change the way things were. Instead Leonard focused on what had to be done in his great-grandfather's establishment.
That was all that really mattered being the person he ought to be. Regardless of what was around him. As he approached his office raising his eyes to the glass windows that decorated this side of the restaurant. For a fraction of time he caught a glimmer in the sky over The Azuli. Strange, but good well there was no time now to try and figure it out.
Business was business and my was the place packed today! Later he
reasoned to himself, he would definitely bring the sight up when
he retired to his grandfather's estate. Caido would be able to tell him.
The man seemed to know anything and everything. Caido would know, he was
sure of it! With this in mind he continued out the day like any other day
at Zips.
