How sweet this land, this people,
How wonderful their union,
All creeds, races, and kinds,
From every corner of the world,
So different their beginnings,
Yet here freedom is their common
song.
How superb this republic, this
nation,
How glorious their liberty,
All professions, trades, and
walks of life,
Regardless of position or privilege,
All manner of skills aside,
To all impartial law and rights
apply.
How magnificent this realm, this
native soil,
How splendid our homeland,
Blessed with river, prairie,
and mountain high,
Land of limitless nature’s bounty,
Endless panoramas, which please
the eye,
Coast to coast a land of beauty,
yours and mine.
How marvelous this land, this
people,
How tremendous their spirit,
Regardless of conviction, value,
and ethic,
Despite distinction of religious
faith,
Paramount is the defense of
the individual,
Independence is the birth right
to one and all.
