           There is nothing sensual about this nude. In her quiet reflection perhaps of something in her life. Only in our minds and hearts are we naked.

            Comments : There was a certain wide innocence  about this model. That attracted me. She is a very talented dancer. When she dances she is one with the music.

          Comments: I do quite a few nudes as I find the female form very beautiful. This model had a certain ambiance about her. I hope you can feel it.

            Comments : I have a weakness for red-headed Women. I find them irresistible. They are usually very strikingly beautiful and sexy. This girl had mischievous eyes.

#140 – Go Go Dancers – Nana Plaza – 44x52 – Ink/pastels on paper – 21/6/98 – Framed and matted
Comments: This one of infamous Bangkok Go Go Bars. I don’t find these types of places very sexy. The Thai girls are a strange mixture of shyness and naive innocence. Frankly most of them cannot dance that well. But I love the glow of the lighting on their bodies very beautiful but not sexy.

            Comments: I’ve used this model in quite a few of my paintings. This  is a study that perhaps someday will be  a larger painting.

            Comments: This is one of my favorite models. I’ve used her in many of my nude paintings. She has a face that from every angle changes.

             Comments: Sometimes the painting takes control of the painter. Somehow a very different feeling that what I intended resulted. This painting can make you feel something that will perhaps disturb you.

            Comments : I hate naming nudes so I end up with nude, nude  #1, #2 and on.. I was in a purple kind of mood when I painted this. I hope you like it.

#249 – Special Show – 20x25 cm. – Mixed mediums on canvas – 12/12/00 – framed
             Comments : I did a series of paintings about strippers quite a few years ago. At a distance there is an illusion  that disappears with closeness. There use to be a place in Indianapolis that had dancers with great music behind them. The music was great ! The dancers were not so great.

#261- “Two friends nude”-60x80-mixed mediums on canvas-19-2-2000:
             Comments:  Thai ladies are rather shy and little afraid of posing nude. I always suggest that the lady bring a friend as a chaperon. This young lady brought a transvestite friend. After observing for a while she declared her desire to be painted also this is the resulting painting. The young lady has been the subject of four other paintings.

             Comments: This lady is one of my favorite models. I’ve used her in so many other paintings. I like the feeling of this painting. I  hope you agree.
